Appointment types:
Screening mammogram – a preventive exam to look for any occurrence of breast cancer, which should be performed each year for women over the age of 40
Diagnostic mammogram – ordered by your provider based on issues or symptoms of breast cancer
Tomosynthesis 3D
This is an advanced type of mammogram, providing radiologists 3D pictures of the breast.
